Leadair got another FPSO modification project order!
In July 2021, with the continuous recovery of the offshore and energy market, Leadair welcomed an big order. "Jiangsu Leadair HVAC Technology Co., Ltd.” and "COSCO Shipping Maritime Technology(Dalian) Co., Ltd." (hereinafter referred to as both parties) jointly undertake the order of stainless steel ventilation ducts for FPSO Sangomar project.
The project is reconstructed from the 300,000 ton VLCC "ASTIPAL", with the length of 320 meters, width of 58 meters and depth of 27 meters. After refitting, the ship will be put into service in sangomar oilfield. Its operating water depth is 780 meters, with a daily crude oil output of 100,000 barrels, a daily gas output of 1.3 million cubic feet, and a crude oil storage capacity of 1.3 million barrels.
The final client of the project is Woodside company of Australia, MODEC company of Japan is the general technical contractor of the project, the builder of hull and laboratory modules is Dalian COSCO marine heavy industry Co., Ltd., and the builder of E-house modules is bomesc Offshore Engineering Co., Ltd.
Relying on Leadair’s understanding of large-scale international offshore projects, the two parties have maintained good technical exchanges with the owner, the engineering services contractor and the ship builder, and the two parties also carried out strict engineering planning. Finally, we have signed the supply contract of stainless steel ventilation ducts for three HVAC systems, namely, the main hull, electrical modules and laboratory modules, they are contracted with Dalian COSCO marine heavy industry Co., Ltd. and bomesc Offshore Engineering Co., Ltd.
The signing of this contract marks that Leadair has the supply capacity of international top energy and offshore projects. Leadair adheres to the service concept of customer demand orientation and escorts international large-scale energy projects.
